About Succulent Plants Succulents are plants with thick fleshy and juicy leaves which are filled with water inside them. They are generally used as ornamental plants including aloe, kalanchoes, haworthia, gastaria, etc. They belong to the family Aizoaceae, Cactaceae, and Crassulaceae which dominates all the varieties. These plants are native to arid and semi-arid regions. Being desert plants they have a deep and broad root system that helps them to sustain. One should provide proper sunlight and watering intervals to the succulents so that they attain proper growth and maintenance. The most common problem with succulents is overwatering which results in the condition of root rot. Plants like Lakshmi kamal , Vishnu kamal , and Jade plants are used as Vastu plants for bringing peace and prosperity to one’s house.
