Plain run cornice is, by far, our best-selling and most popular category of plaster cornice. 200 years ago, these types of designs would have been made by running a shaped template over wet plaster, in place between the ceiling and the wall. It is from this process that the name "Plain Run Cornice" comes. This was an expensive, highly skilled job, and such cornices were the preserves of the wealthy.
