Designed specifically for the Raku firing process, Raku glazes are formulated to take advantage of the stress put on the vessel during firing to produce vibrant visual effects, from unique crackling to vibrant iridescence and rainbow hues. Incredibly strong, they are able to stay on the clay body through the rigors and temperature fluctuations of a Raku firing.
