About
A stacked modular jack puts two or more RJ45 ports in one shell, in rows or columns, so a single placement delivers several ports in roughly the panel width of one. TeleWire Technology manufactures 69 of them in Taiwan, from 1x2 up to 2x8. Port pitch holds to the shell tolerance , not to board placement accuracy. One placement replaces four or eight , which compounds on a dense line card. Tabs in both orientations — the two rows latch in opposite directions, so a released cord does not foul the connector facing it. Ganged (1xN) and stacked (2xN) arrays, with or without integrated magnetics, 10/100 through 10G Base-T, PoE++ capable, shielded with or without EMI fingers.
