The purpose of mens base layer clothing is to keep you warm and to help you stay dry and comfortable. From short or long sleeve tops to shorts, they tend to be lightweight but with a tighter fit for warmth, and also to allow other layers to be worn over them when required. Constructed in very light materials and with very few seams to prevent irritation, you hardly know you are wearing it.
