After retiring from professional competition, Olivier Bernhard decided to set out to find the perfect running shoe. Along with Caspar Coppetti and David Allemann, they formed the On company in Zurich in January 2010 and worked on producing a shoe that offers the opportunity to just enjoy running and let your individual style come through naturally. On CloudTec® cushioning provides support where you need it while allowing you to transition naturally to the Cloud elements in the forefoot that are firmer and promote a more powerful push off. On has gone on to win international design and technology awards and have opened a second head office in the USA.
