Tie Bars

Conservatory roofs are heavy, particularly glass roofs and especially when holding heavy snow. Their weight generates a force that pushes outwards against the frames and can lead to the sides splaying and roof collapsing. Tie bar kits, with rods stretching horizontally across the width, prevent the sides bowing out and so maintains the structural integrity of the roof.
