The Mitsubishi Delica occupies a space almost nothing else does: a genuine four-wheel-drive with seven or eight seats, a high van body and enough ground clearance to take a family somewhere a conventional people mover cannot follow. At UniBee Australia we import used Delicas directly from Japan through our own Osaka buying branch. The Delica D5 is the modern generation, available with the 2.4-litre petrol engine or the 2.2 and 2.3-litre turbo diesels. Mitsubishi's All-Wheel Control system lets you switch between two-wheel drive for economy, four-wheel-drive auto for wet roads, and locked four-wheel drive for dirt, sand or snow. Grades include Chamonix, Roadest, Power Package and Active Field Edition, each with different equipment and trim. The earlier Delica Space Gear offers a more rugged, older-school proposition with the 3.0-litre V6 and a body shape that has become genuinely sought after. Both generations share the same appeal — seating for the whole family, room for the gear, and the ability to keep going once the bitumen ends. Every Delica we sell is supplied with a Roadworthy Certificate , clear title, and the original Japanese export certificate and auction report, and passes our 35-point pre-delivery inspection in our own Dandenong workshop.
