Pretreatments WOCA Lyes are optional interior wood pre treatment products for finishing wood that age, color and patina wood. Wood only treated with lye is still unfinished wood. The final look for wood with a lye applied depends on the WOCA Oil chosen as the topcoat finish. Interior wood pretreatment is not mandatory before using a WOCA Oil.
